Founded in 2000, Frisco Flyers SOTX is more than justa non-profit—it’s a vibrant community where individuals with intellectualdisabilities, aged eight and older, find joy, strength, and camaraderie throughsports. With a mission that extends far beyond the playing field, Frisco FlyersSOTX empowers its participants to build not only physical fitness but also lastingfriendships and personal confidence. Whether it’s volleyball, soccer,basketball, or even track & field, this organization offers year-roundtraining in a wide array of sports, allowing each individual to explore theirpotential and discover new passions.

At the core of Frisco Flyers SOTX is a powerful goal:to create meaningful connections through sports while fostering courage, skilldevelopment, and a true sense of belonging. Weekly practices allow participantsto hone their abilities, and competitive opportunities at both area and statelevels provide moments for them to shine. Every game is a celebration oftalent, determination, and the unwavering spirit of these remarkable athletes.

But Frisco Flyers SOTX is about more thancompetition—it’s about community. The organization hosts special eventsthroughout the year, including festive Halloween and Christmas parties thathave become highlights for participants and their families. These joyousgatherings, held at the Frisco Performing Arts Center (FriscoPAC), offer achance to celebrate, socialize, and create cherished memories. The choice of FriscoPACas their venue was a deliberate one, inspired by an initial connection formedwhen their church began using the center’s facilities. Over time, this bond hasgrown into a lasting partnership, with Frisco Flyers SOTX appreciating FriscoPACnot just for its exceptional venue but for the warmth and professionalism ofits staff.

Led by Ms. Allyson, the team at FriscoPAC has becomean invaluable part of the Frisco Flyers SOTX family. The welcoming atmosphereand reliable assistance have made FriscoPAC a second home, providing theperfect backdrop for holiday celebrations and fostering a sense of communitythat is essential to the organization’s mission.

Frisco Flyers SOTX continues to thrive at FriscoPAC,where their partnership is built on shared values of inclusion, support, andthe celebration of every individual’s achievements.
