The Movie Institute and the Frisco PAC

May 28, 2020

The Movie Institute

The Movie Institute
, a 501(c)(3) Collin County-based youth development organization, is dedicated to the training of life and leadership skills by utilizing the creativity and discipline of the motion media arts & sciences.  Through various camps, workshops and after-school programs, participants acquire critical life skills they will take with them for the rest of their lives.

We are very thankful to Chris Duncan & Steve South of FriscoPAC , for their continued support and community partnership since 2017, as the main location sponsor for many of our programs, including Kamp Hollywood, our flagship film making summer camp.

Kamp Hollywood is a unique, hands-on film production AND acting camp where participants create short films the “reel” way. All films created at the camp are screened at a local movie theater with an exciting Oscar-style, red carpet graduation and screening event that has an awards ceremony honoring outstanding achievements during the camp.
